Hi guys! Im sorry to show you more pics of my tongue but I cant help thinking that it looks deviated to one side! Is this what a deviate tongue looks like? When i stick it out tense it goes to the right but if I stick it out relaxed or rest it on my lip it looks normal! Im going crazy with this condition I cant hardly sleep and now I feel almost permanant buzzing on my feet, its like having my phone moving in my shoe! Here are some pics, does anyone elses tongue do this when tense??? Please bear in mind that i had a clean emg of 4 limbs and paraspinals. I have no swallowing problems but i do feel i stumble on my words, not slurring but sometimes tongue tied.

Also I havent mentioned that I often feel as if the tip of my tongue has been burnt with a hot beverage, does anyone else feel something like this?

I'm new around here but I think the fact that when you stick your tongue out relaxed it looks normal is your answer. Its amazing how we start noticing weird things with our bodies when we start analyzing every square inch of them. Your tongue would have probably been doing this for years if you would have had a reason to examine it. Alas, you never did so you never noticed.

My advice is to quit palying with your tongue. we have here one fellow, last year he was so obsessed with his tongue that he got jaw dislocation. Wery painful and unpleasant several minutes of his life. It also leads to increased risk of mouth infection (I am not joking) which are pretty hard to treat and very unpleasant to survive (ulceration of oral mucosa is not the best feeling I experienced in my life...)

Thank u both for the advice and I will stop looking at it. But now that I already took the pictures could you tell me if it looks normal or if I should be worries?

absolutely normal as for me. slight deviation at the really tensed tongue means nothing. paralysed people usually have tonge deviated significantly in relaxed state or can not exert it at all, so your is nice young healthy one.

Honestly that looks fine to me ! 100% normal looking tongue and if you have no issues with your tongue you really should stop sticking it out and playing with it as it will get tired and sore from over extension and moving it in ways you wouldn't normally move it.Yes buzzing and sensations are completely normal on a tongue, it's easily orbited by hot drinks, hard food, poking at teeth lots of things ! It's a busy muscle !! Please relax about your tongue, your causing anxiety that you could avoid...
