Help! Anxiety and Thumb Twitch

Hi,
I thought I wont post here similiar posts like this but now Im really, really down with anxiety at its top :(

Today I saw (couldnt feel) twitch on the great muscle of thumb on its side. The twitch was rather contraction, I saw the skin "sucks inside" (hope you know what I feel).

But this isnt the worst - the worst is, that everytime I strech the muscle of thumb (like when you do OK) it appear. The same when I massage the muscle. This contraction appears almost after every attempt, its so scary. And only my left thumb :(

Im down, I dont want to undergo next EMG, next exam, nothing!

EDIT: Here is a link to video I have already taken and placed on youtube.

Thank for your help

Has anyone experienced this on his thumbs? What about recruiting them, do they look like contractions? Please :(

Aha, I have had this some time ago. My thumb was jumping like a crazy for three or four days and I was really anxious about it. Try to relax, go to the swimming pool or do some joga - it helps to relax the muscles. If you have clean emg you can use your live and do something nice :D)

I have two thumbs (in fact I think most people have)

Now I have atrophy in my left thumb (this is clinical on my records the real McCoy) but it is the musculature in my right thumb that twitches.

For the record I have nerve damage in both, the right is not considered to be so severe.

I'm new here, so I don't understand a lot about this condition yet, but wanted to try to ease your mind about your thumb.

I guess I didn't even realize that would be a fasc.. I thought just a twitchy nerve - not the muscle. My pointer finger does that same thing - I can make it happen when I hold my finger a certain way. I've only been twitching for 3 weeks or so, but I've had that finger thing since my early 20's (I'm 38 now).

I had gone to the dr way back then to try to figure out what the deal was and they put me on meds for tremors. I took that for about 2 days and said "Thanks, but no thanks". I have an old shoulder injury and always attibuted it to that.

I wouldn't worry about that - I've had mine for 15 years or so and my hand still works great.
