Just wondering if anyone has heard from Swift_TaySwift20. He last posted a few months ago as he was soon to be tested by a hematology/oncology dr. I have sent a PM that has gone unanswered. Hoping all is well. If anyone has info, plz pass along. Thanks!Shelly

Hi, I just explained to Shelly what happened to me. My hematologist/oncologist vist was on March 1st and my father passed away from cancer on March 3rd (diagnosed Dec. 2011) so I have been dealing with a lot of grief in addition to being the trustee of his estate. During my doctor's visit he explained that he was concerned about my low lymphycyte level and did a physical exam of my lymph nodes and abdomen. In addition to cancer he said HIV can cause a low lymphocyte level and asked for permission to do a HIV test. He said my lymphocyte level was in the lowest area of the normal range but this could be normal for me. They did more blood work including an HIV test and everything came back within the normal ranges. He said I would not need to see him again unless I begin to develop frequent infections. My neuromuscular specialist wanted me to see him again in 6 months (July). Unfortunately my condtion (muscle stiffness) has worsened since I developed this 7 years ago. I had to give up mowing my lawn because I would be so stiff and sore afterwards for usually about 4 days. All of the stiffness is concentrated in both hamstring muscles and seems to be progressing up my back more.Swift_TaySwift20

Swift_TaySwift20,I'm so sorry to hear about your father and your health concerns. I can't imagine what you have been through, are going through, etc. However, I'm glad that your test results were normal, because I remember how afraid you were initially about this.I hope you can find some peace.Mitra
