Have you noticed twitching changes with body position?

Has anyone noticed that your body parts twitch differently when in different positions? For example, sometimes when my legs are crossed, I'll twitch where the are crossed or if I'm laying down on my stomach, my stomach will twitch. I mean, I still twitch everywhere else but it seems my body positioning certainly effects my twitching. Would love to know if others have noticed the same thing? thanks!

Yes. When my legs are crossed the dangling foot will usually twitch. When I'm driving, my toes twitch on the accelerator. (Toes are a hot spot for me.) If I cross my arms accross my chest, my hands will twitch. I could probably go on, but you get the picture.

Yes, in general, the body part that is compressed, confined, or movement restricted is most symptomatic. It's not weird if you think about it: in most cases the blood flow is restricted and sometimes the nerves are compressed.

Thanks "Imok" -- that's exactly what i experience. If the top of my leg is pressed against the bottom of a table, it is most likely to twitch! Thanks!!

My calves twitch most when I bend my knee and rest my heel on something, leaving the calf muscle to 'dangle' if you know what I mean. Upper body twitches are usually more random for me.Simon

Yes, I tend to twitch in my calves when i am driving the car and feet once I sit. My new one is the knee and that twitches when I lay down and stand, but not really sit, b/c it is bent. Anyone notice that when you are outside in the sun your twitches increase? I notice that a lot!
