Hand Twitching: Cause for Concern?

Hello all,So I was sitting in the car this evening waiting on my wife to get out of work and in the interior light I noticed that the muscles in the tops of my hands were twitching. I am more than a bit concerned by this, I thought twitches that weren't felt and aren't visible in normal light were a bad sign? Anybody else have these? My symptoms have been better here lately I don't vibrate like internally like I used too, but my hands tremble some days worse than others and I have been having dull aching pains in them. I am kinda bugging myself back out as at the moment I have no way to see a neurologist to put all this too rest. I have been doing better about not focusing on the twitches, I even started lifting again and have had several family members point out that my arms and shoulders look better. But these past few days I can't get all this stuff off my mind. My hands also feel clumsy lately.

Yes, yes, yes, I think Johhny responded to my topic "different kind of twitch". It is so wavy and small you need to look at the light to see the hand skin is quivering. And it is in top of my hand either, just a great place to look at it while driving. But it will only do to you a car accident, I almost went into the nearby river when it bumped again and I was observing it :( At that point I realised even a twitch can kill

Thanks for the input guys, it makes me feel a bit better about the whole thing. I have another question, does anyone else have tremoring in their hands, and is tremoring a sign of ALS?. I have a tremor in both hands, up untill a week ago it was primarily in my left but now it is more present in my right, but it just depends on the day. Last night I went back to my martial arts class for the first time in ages and after hitting and holding the focus mitts for others the tremors were almost uncontrollable, but did die down after awhile, anyone else experience this?

I have tremor only at night, other here I know have tremor during the day also. BUT... Tremor is NOT a sign of ALS, themor is caused by central brain the head, it has NOTHING to do with twitching. Tremor ca be caused by all sorts of things, I know my hands had such a bad tremor when I was fearfull, caffeine can cause it, there is benign essential tremor etc. Again I point out that tremor is not indicative of ALS, ALS does not present with tremor. Hope that helps.
