Hi,has anyone of you had a biopsy yet and can tell me somethign about it?Reason:After 1 year of all the twitching, fatigue etc. I had a second EMG (I wanted to have it done to finnally "close the file" and accept it)... Well, unfortunately it showed some slight change in muscle cell structure in the most active region (calve left). My neuro said HE would wait and see and do nothing, but as an alternative he sent me to a muscle clinic (one of the best in Europe) where they 'want' to do a biopsy now. This seems to be the only way to find out the details you can't see on NCT, EMG and blood...Now I wonder if I really should do it. On the one hand it means final knowledge if there's a musle desease like a encyme distortion or if these changes were caused by the twitching itself; on the other hand there's the problem of inhomogenity... Only in certain spots was the EMG "strange". I can't be shure that they don't cut out the wrong piece, that doen't show anything./Nic
