I have to say even though you are worried you are actually a positive story for us. You started after a stressful time, and 3.5 years later you are still twitching off and on with no weakness.

When I had my VGKC antibody level tested I looked over the testing sheet I received from my neuro. One of the blood tests listed was a test for the genetic form of als. I don't know the accuracy of the test but I suppose one would have to think a long time whether to have the test or not. The laboratory's website is listed below.
