Gaining Back Health After Food Poisoning

Food poisoning is not a condition to be taken lightly. Both you and your dad should hydrate yourselves. You will also feel weak and just "off" in general. Take sometime to let your system get back to normal which means eating lightly, extra rest and hydration. I recommend the same for your dad. And don't allow yourself longer than a day for a pity party kiddo, nothing good can from it.

This too shall pass, don't lose precious moments from your life over something that only has power if you give it.

when you start to spiral downwards, it is hard to stop yourself. But you have to. Your rationale is off. You are thinking the worst. I have been where you are, and i really feel for you. i get it. Please reread these posts, and say to yourself "I am fine". then smile at that fact, because you are. Food poisoning is awful, and it takes a lot out of you. Focus on what you do have - the residual effects of food poisoning. take care of yourself, and try to enjoy the day.
