Fungal Infection & Muscle Twitching

Hello there,I started using Lamsil 10g to treat some sort of fungal infection. To my surprise, muscle twitching and other symptoms of BFS are almost gone after treatment. Is it possible that BFS is caused or partly caused by some sort of fungal infection? Here are some of the websites I saw related to the topic "fungal infection" and "muscle twitching":Perhaps, doctors and scientists should look on this possibility so as to provide genuine help for those who suffer from BFS. It might be caused by some kind of fungal infection.Francisco

There has been quite a bit of discussion (here and otherwise) of bfs symptoms being caused by Candida albicans infection - you can use the search function to check this out. I believe that Lamisil acts against Candida (ask your doc about this). It would be great for you if this will 'fix' you bfs-wise but as you are aware, bfs is an amorphous beast and can take many shapes so it may only help a few. Alas, I am one of the few who can't take this drug - severe allergic reaction to it. However, it is note-worthy so let us know what comes of it when you finish your treatment. :)

interesting. I'm highly allergic to mold and the symptoms coincided with moving into a new apartment. Also - I had eaten an entire log of real bluecheese during the week I started to feel weird.

Candidiasis.. everyone has it in their mouth. Some people can see it, some dont. The roof of my mouth has been white for 1.5 year now.I dont believe in alternative medicine crap. Yeast infections like candidiasis is just another way to sell some crap pills that just dont seem to work and cost 60 euros just for 2 weeks. These websites even go on and say that allot of anxiety symptoms are actually caused by systematic candidiasis. Well my friends, only people with aids have the risk of ending with systematic candidiasis.. altho genital / oral yeast infections are very common when taking antibiotics. Candidiasis usually only shows up on several places due to immunesystem imbalances and usually goes away by itself, or you can get some cool sprays from your dentist that tastes like mentos. Yummy! So yeah, go ahead and eat liters of yogurt... trust me; the last time i ate 100 magnesium pills, it didn't worked either.
