Freaking Out about Throat Tightness

i am freaking out about my throat tightness and my tongue twitches...anyone???????????????????????i know others get them but i am not doing well with it-- i googled tongue twitches and it made me feel worse.... i keep going back to that article about the guy who said tongue twitches are more indicative of mnd right here on this website...why is that posted on here?? i never would have had that in my mind if it wasnt -- i think it should be removed.. really-- but in the meantime i am not doing well at all...please help

The tongue is another muscle and can twitch. I have/had tongue twitches throughout the last 3.5 years...it doesn't mean anything without other symptoms. I know that's hard to believe but totally true.

Mark is right, without other symptoms, tongue twitches are nothing. Read some of the older posts and you will find that many, many are where you are. I dealt with what you are having for about a month. But, it eventually died down and is gone now. Hang in there - you're okay.BlessingsCindy

Hi BK, I hear you. I'm having a hard time with the tongue twitching myself, and mine are as bad as they get. But as Mark mentioned, the tongue is "just" another muscle! True, it may not be as common as calves or feet twitching, but it does exist in its benign form! Look at how many of us suffer from those (I suggest you check out the BFS survey), but whatever you do, DO NOT GOOGLE!! Stop doing this to yourself. I've had the tongue twitching for 9 months now and my neuro doesn't' seem to be concerned, so why should I be or you for that matter?You are just fine! May

You are not a bonehead, but STOP GOOGLEING!!!!!!! I get tounge twithces all the time. I twitch in places we cannot even discuss here.
