Now that its been going on for quite some time (9 months for me) I was wondering if I should be getting follow up exams. I dont know wat a nero would do but has anyone else thought about going back to let their doc know its still going on and to get re checked. (not for als necessarly) but just a check up.

Hi Christin,

I'm a new member but I have been dealing with BFS for nearly 11 months. I recently had a second check up with my doctor since this whole thing started as a routine physical and the result was the same as the first visit. That there was nothing pathologically wrong me and that the condition is likely stress related. I don't think there is anything wrong with making a second appointment to evaluate your symptoms for precautionary reasons. If nothing else it will reaffirm to you that its not a serious health condition and allow you to try to move on with life. Unfortunately BFS seems to have its own time table and only time can allow us to learn to deal with this condition. I fully understand what you're going through and wish you the best in coping with this ordeal. Thanks.

congratulations on your nine months....
How do you feel about a follow up. Are you comfortable with your results to date then if so don't. However if it makes you feel better to have another check up then go for it. :)

i'm going back in. I havent seen a nero since July. But right after the Holidays i'm going back. I need to tell them that i'm still twitching in person. I just want to hear some type of explanation and advice. Wish me luck. I'll report back any thing note worthy
