Folding Tongue - Left Only

Many moons ago, when I first met my wife, I remember her showing me that she could "fold" her tongue. I could have almost sworn that she told me she could only fold it in one direction. I just called her, and this is in fact the case. She can fold her tongue to the left but not to the right. She's always been this way.

Thanks so much for your responses everyone...gave me a good giggle and reassured me once again.
For me, imagining tongue and swallowing problems seems to be the easiest thing for my mind to conjure up!
