So today I actually flew to another state got in with a neuromuscular specialist. That's how crazy I am. Anyways, he checked me over, I told him all about my twitches, cramps, pain, etc... He said " he has NEVER NEVER NEVER seen a case of als where they only had fasics and no weakness." He said if might be really mild but he can always pull it out on the exam.He did an emg of all 4 limbs, back and chin. All normal. He also said that neuros normally get a sixth sense when they see someone. I asked him how common it was to just twitch. He said that he already had a 77 year old patient this morning who has twitched for 40 years. And he just comes to get checked out to make sure everything is ok. Hopefully, I can start helping others now instead of always needing help myself. Have a great day guys:)

I am so happy that you feel better now. It is so nice that you now want to help others BUT just a little Tip: you are now reassured by the forum and by this doc that you habe BFS like all the other people on here. Now please let that conviction work inside of you. Take off time from the forum and everything about BFS and let that peace inside you become stable. And when you are definately filled with the conviction of having something benign, then come back. The days wirhout fear in the early days are so fragile, anxiety is so contagious that you might be re- infected with fear easily by the internet . Believe me in this point.
