Fingertip Pruning: Cause?

Does anyone have this? My fingertips on my left hand looks pruned (like been in water for a long time) and I don't know why. Could this be a sign of dehydration or circulation problem? I'm not twitching as much though and happy about that but now my fingertips look pruned!

LOLYou fingertips can not be atrophied while there are no muscles there. Every and all doctors can tell you that. Fingertips looks like that from time to time. Nothing to worry about.LOL

The entire palms of my hands look pruned. I have been diagnosed with carpel tunnel. Also I am in my fifties and believe I am losing collagen which makes the hands look more wrinkled. I have gone to doctors and complained about how my hands look and I get no response or concern. One doctor said, "Look at my hands. They're worse than yours." But he looked quite a bit older than me.There was one female doctor who kept pushing on my wrists and watching the blood flow back into my hands and she thought there was a problem and referred me to a vascular surgeon. I have not had that appointment yet, but I also have these fatty lumps on my wrists called ganglions which I believe may be interfering with the circulation to my hands. I have decided not to be too concerned.Sandra D
