Finger Twitching and Forearm Tightness

Hey while replying to SPEG's question I thought about this....
is it typical for you fellow hand/finger twitchers to have tightness in the forearm and wrist? Makes my whole hand feel kinda tight and less dexterity.

yes at times my hand feels so uncoordinated. It comes and goes. It hasn't been confirmed that I have carpal tunnel but I still sleep in the braces and it helps me at work with the clumsiness a lot.

I'm having the same problem now. It's like I can't do as much w/my hands because I get this weird nerve sensation in my hands and forearm. Today was 68 degrees and I could hardly move my fingers. They are so stiff in colder weather. On my EMG the nerve conduction in both hands were slow because my hands felt cold. Is this normal?

It is hard to describe. There is not any weakness or anything, which is good, but it is almost like when I get up in the morning my hand has to "warm" up before it wants to work right. Nothing major, can write, button clothes and all of that stuff. Why do you ask.

Regards
Duane

Duane,

Just because I've heard people talk about "stiffness" around here associated with BFS and I wanted to hear what that meant. Thanks for describing.
