Finger Twitches: Worried?

Does anyone else get these? From what I've gathered this is distinctly a Parkinson's symptom. I get them occasionally in my thumb or other fingers while they're sitting in my lap and I'm kind of worried...

as far a I know, not necessarily and for sure not if this is occasional transient trembling. Parkinson"s tremor is definitely "rest remor' meaning it is not related to straining fingers or it is not do called intentional trembling when hand trembles before any action. but it is constant, very specific, fine trembling, and the fingers are 'coin counting'. usually (as far as I know from reading) is is accompanied with prominent arm stiffnes and the whole hand has quite specific diagnostically meaningful look. Any neurologist can recognize it becuase it is very special in appearance. In BFS and even in overall healthy people it happens sometimes that the fingers can tremble on their own. Our involutarily movenents range includes such movements too, but they are ususally not so specifically organised as in PD.

The PD tremors are a very special kind of tremor, called pill-rolling tremor. Trembling fingers are a very common symptom of BFS. Those are my fingers, this tremor accompanies me from the start, but has decreased a lot by now :

Thanks guys... This am I woke up with my thumb moving back and forth (at rest) sort of like a coin counting motion. I was sleeping funny on my arm though, could this have caused it to tremor? I'm starting to lose hope... :(

Yep. sleeping on the arm can cause tremor due to bad circulation. If you have any doubts, better go to neuro, they can spot PD in a clinical exam because it has very clear signs.
