Finding Natural Remedies Natural Remedies for Lyme

The docs on this board would be better equipped to answer this question, but I'll take a stab at it. I read a great book called "Your Symptoms are Real" by a neurologist named Benjamin Natelson. He wrote that the basic lyme test (ELISA) is sufficient. If the ELISA is positive, then another test (Western Blot) is done to confirm the diagnosis.Since you live near Lyme, Connecticut, though, I would bring it up with your doc again. He/She is probably very familiar with the Lyme tests and their degree of accuracy.Terri

Be careful with this one Rob. Lyme is a very tricky situation, more than most realize. Contact me on this one, I have some info for you. But I can tell you rite now, if you had no serious flu like symptoms (severe vomiting, stiff painful neck and high fever) you did not contract LYME. If you did not experience this and your test was negative, then you do not have it. If you did not experience these symptoms and your test was negative, and you never had the rash, then you absolutely did not contract LYME.Your friendRobynn :D)

Hi Robbie! My in-laws lived in Old Lyme for years. Loved it there on the sound. I remember thinking a couple of years back when this started it must have been because of my vacation at Point 'O Woods, lol! Probably not though.
