Fear of ALS - Passing It On

Hey All,So a few months ago I went through a bad "fear of ALS" phase. Thank God that it has passed. I had experienced everything from tingling to twitching to mini panic attacks, with lightheartedness, insomnia, frequent urination in between. Things I also were experiencing were acid reflux, bad post nasal drip, and what appeared to be some issues with my prostate. Well, the only definite answers i got from doctors were acid reflux and prostatitis, maybe. Well, its been about 6 months since all my wierd symptoms started, and I still have no answers. For a while, a lot of the sensory stuff went away, but now its back. AS of today, the reflux has gotten better, but its still there. The post nasal drip is there too. When I blow my nose, there is blood, but not when i hawk up stuff from my throat. Also, i have this vauge feeling of dizziness, but as strange as it may sound, I cannot tell. What really bothers me is that i have these wierd wet/cold sensations in legs and arms. There is occassional twitching, but that doesnt bother me. I also get feel very sensitive to heat and cold, especially cold. When I sweat, like when I exercise, it feels like ice. I also have occassional pains in stomach and bladder, along with frequent urination at times. Also feel bad irritation in anus (sorry). Finally, been getting itchy skin at times. I post this because its therapeutic for me. Also, because I am curious if anyone has any ideas on what might be going on. I am headed back to docs soon. Thanks

Is Acid Reflux a sign of ALS? I hadn't heard that. I hope not, because I get that ALOT. I've had it for years, though. I go through phases where it's worse than other times. Its seems like something that is manageable in the way of lifestyle changes, since I get it bad if I eat too soon before laying down, if I lay on my right side, eat things spicy, things like that. Also, the post nasal drip thing? I didn't know any of these things where associated with als. I would think of that as normal post nasal drip. It just sounds like you have allergies. Thanks, Val

oh no, I am not afraid of ALS. I just post here because people are pretty supportive and I have a bunch of weird symptoms that others may have experienced. I just want some feedback.
