Hi,I'm french guy 27 years old, like many people who are twitching i'm very scared about als...My upper right abdominal is still twitching (non stop), does it be bfs?I have done an Emg 2 weeks ago, the neuro said that there completely nothing to signalise, and I can keep cool ! but I don't believe in her, I know I'm an Hypocondriaque person but does anxiety produce a continuous twitch in the same area?Since more 1 year this same abdominal part are cramping (less 10 times) in a particulare position. My calf twitch too, and other parts (arms, legs, face, neck...), but misteriously that others twitching started when I saw the symptoms of als. The abdomen had started to twitch 1 day after. Thanks all for your answers !I'am very scared, I'm living 2 months of fear and anxiety... A real nightmare :(ps : sorry for my bad english :)

I did have some in the beginning, but it has since stopped there for the most part. Just the occasional twitch there now. It's your "hot spot". Remember clean EMG means no nasty!

Allright ! Thanks, I 'm not alone in that kind of twitching ! another question :D) Bfs twitching can be seen but not felt?sometime I feel the twitch and sometime not, but it can be seen ! now this my quadriceps who are twitching, those muscles are driving me crazy !!

I get those, i would like to know what causes bfs so i can sell it on teleshopping, those ab crunchers based on electrodes are so old school, BFS is the best workout for the abs.

Twitches come in all forms for most of us- seen but not felt, felt but not seen, ripples, pops, thumps, flutters, you name it. None of them are to be worried about more than others.

Thanks ! I have all that kind of twitches ! I try to calm down, but with all things that we can read about twitching/fasciculation, are freaking me out!MsMaverick, my abdomen is my hotspot, but how many time he can twitch? Apparently "hotspot" is significally a symptom of a disease :(How many emg can diagnosis bfs? I have read some people who's develop Als after many years of fasciculation ! Cheers

EMG's rule OUT ALS. You'd be surprised how many times a muscle can twitch! Hot spots are very common with BFS. Mine are in my feet and calves- been going 24/7 for 9 months!

Everyone said to me that Emg rule out Als, the neuro too ! but now I think it's obsesionnal, my mind are always on that twitch ! Those on my abdominal area are strange, I feel them but I don't see them, and when I put my hand against this area I can feel my muscle moving like wave.I know Als it's rare disease...ps : I have nothing other to signalise, like pain, weakness, or other symptoms. It's comforting to find people who feels that twitch !Cheers !
