Eye Twitching: Month 14

I'm on month 14 of twitching - everywhere, all over the body, all the time -- but here's a new twitch. My left eye seems to twitch, for about 3 seconds, off and on throughout the day. Usually when I'm about to blink... I doesn't seem to ever become a hot spot, and it's never a single twitch... just about three twitches and it's over. Anyone else get an eye twitch like that. Happens about 10 - 20 times a day. Please respond. Thank you.

I really think the eye twitches are the least worrisome unless of course they interfere with function or are embarrassing. I left my law job six years ago. I remember sitting at a conference table and the two people to either side of me had MAJOR eye twitching. I tried not to stare but it was hard not too. There was a lot of stress in that job (one reason why I left) so that was obviously a factor. But two people with constant, very noticeable eye twitching at the same table shows you how common this is. I think the nerve there are just very susceptible, so anyone with a twitching issue will likely have eye twitches at some point. I know I have but I think my Klonopin works on them well.

Mine are a little different, but continuous...I went to the neurologist today and showed him when I close my eyes they twitch up above my lids....He said nothing to worry about, just flutters. Maybe yours are just flutters too... (not sure what the difference really is )Andrea
