Exploring Stress/Mind Connection with Fasciculations

I just wanted to share one interesting thing. Since my fasciculations were widespread but often create hotspots (especially arms), I gave up an idea that is stress/mind related. I thought its not possible, I had some worries but I was not stressed or even anxious. Last week I had bad hotspot in my arm, pretty annoying. And 2 days ago my underlying worry that was still on the back of my mind (related to my future life) was resolved. I felt great relief and was just OK. That was 2 days ago and I cannot remember any twitch since then! I really stopped twitching, even when Im trying to induce it. Im convienced it is related, because I twitch for 2 years and nothing helped me.I will see in the next days but this is at least very interesting.

Great to hear that you have found stress reduction to be a good way to control your symptoms... there'a a lesson in that for all of us (especially me!!!!) Well done and I hope you continue to impriveRegardsSimon

The most interesting is the fact that its not only improvement, its total! I did not twitch last 2 days, that was impossible within last 2 years. Im very curious whather the twitching will return.

We are in Chester, and it's a lovely little town. The turkey farm just reopened as a steak house. We moved here a year ago from South Jersey. I think my husband picked this town specifically because it's 30 minutes from Short Hills! I have yet to get to the mall because I'm scared that once I do I'll become addicted! Does shopping relieve stress? Just trying to stay Emilyomousee to the topic : )
