Exploring Similarities of BFS and Chronic Organ Flu

Can BCFS/BFS just be a new version of the flu? I am stomped on this one and no research has yet uncovered what is going on. Anybody? Of course this "flu" does not seem to leave our bodies with any quickness!

I am amazed how similar Fibromyalgia and BCFS are. They also have the mysterious "Flu" episode so many of us report!

I am putting my money on the following as the cause of BFS /BCFS:

Your input is always interesting. I have a friend who is a social worker who was treating a women for anxiety many years back. The woman had EBV before it was widely known about. The doctors said her symptoms were due to stress or undiagnosable. I don't know if we had a virus and it caused nerve damage or if this is something that is still detectable, but the symptoms of BFS are abnormal and not something I've ever experienced before. Since I had my worst onset of symptoms a few months ago they never completely go away. I hope that if we all keep searching we can get an answer to this.

I know a lot of people on this board are in the medical field and have suffered the same frustration of trying to get any answers. I was working in a building that housed a clinic when this happened. Anyway, it's very frustrating and I'm glad you keep looking.
