Exploring Possible MND/ALS Diagnosis

Sounds like BFS not MND/ALS

Your doc may be thinking that the neuro consult will help you to understand the condition and also confirm their diagnosis. There is nothing to suggest otherwise.

However what you are experinceing is like so many of us here. I am a practising physician and even I needed an EMG and a second neuro consultant.

Take care and be kind with yourself

thank you all for your encouraging posts. I have a tightness in my left upper leg - like the muscle won't relax. I thought it was from bowling, but I've had it for almost a week. Is this a bad sign?
