Exploring Perceived Weakness in BFS

Has anyone's neuro explained perceived weakness?

What is your opinion as to what it happens? Anxiety? Fatigue?

I know a lot have said it's just part of BFS and if that is the case then we are really weak in some form or fashion and it's not perceived if it is a true symptom of BFS.

Just wondering what thoughts are out there on this? This is the hardest thing for me to deal with out of any of this crap. I could deal with the twitching. It's the perceived weakness that always makes me think it's ALS weakness setting in!

Thanks for any comment or thoughts

I know how you feel on this one. It's my biggest concern too. I do know that the more I think about it the "weaker" I feel. Also, if I read something that scares me my legs automatically turn to jello. Being tired makes my legs rubbery as well.

I would guess that the perceived weakness is from adrenaline release that comes with anxiety. That's just a guess, but it makes sense to me.
