Exploring Hypermobility Syndromes

Looking for connections, has anyone here ever been diagnosed with any of the hypermobility syndromes.

Before I ever saw a neuro I saw a rheumatologist who said that some of my problems were likely down to hypermobility, that is to say the frequency of experiencing trapped nerves was maybe down to my joints moving out of the normal range.

I used to be freakily hypermobile, I once fell and my ankle bent over way beyond what is believable without breaking and my dad an brother both have put there shoulders out easily.

One of the reasons I walk with a cane is because my right knee has a tendency to suddenly give way without warning.

When I was younger I read that hypermobility could become a disability in later life but I thought nothing of that and thought how can it be? I am not so sure now.
