Exploring Benign Twitches & Pain

My ????? for today is can the twitches that are benign cause you pain? I will post my whole story later on the my story site and I hope you guys read it. I really need you all to know my whole story and give your opinions

Benign twitches absolutely can cause pain. I just had this same conversation with one of the top neurologists in Houston about two week ago. Unfortunately some of us suffer from what he called benign-pain/cramp fasciculation syndrome. I have a lot of muscle and joint pain, along with muscle fatigue. It really sucks, but it is unfortunately part of this for me, and many others on this board. I guess we are the lucky ones .

When my twitching first started, I had a significant amount of muscle pain and stiffness. Very bad for a few months. That has almost completely subsided. I also had a period of painful muscle cramps. That too has gone.

I've been getting muscle pain, which I attribute to BFS. I get it most in my calves, especially when I've been getting a lot of twiching in them. This has been going on since the twitches started up full time in January. I've been also getting sore hands and feet the last couple of months.
