Experiencing Hangover Effects Without Drinking

Hi,

No I don't personally experience a disorientated feeling. I sometimes get a bit of a hangover feeling though and I haven't even had a drink. :(
Someone else here may be able to relate to the the other symptoms.
Well thats good that your twitching doesn't bother you. On a quiet day I don't notice it, but sometimes I still find it really annoying.

surroundings felt distant and the floor somewhat unstable,

I had this big time when I had my major onset of symptoms. It got so bad, I would reach for objects and miss them; I also frequently dropped things. Of course this in turn sent my *** anxiety to the moon. This has largely resolved itself with time.

Its been over 4 months since I posted this. The unsteady, rocky feeling I have been experiencing and described in earlier posts has been fixed and not been related to BFS. But down to a inner ear problem which no DR could work out until I saw a ENT DR. One month medication of SERC cleared me right up.
I am also experiencing issues with swollowing now, excess saliva and clearing my throat. I feel as if someone has a voodoo doll of me and brings something new up all the time for me to worry about. It is really driving me into depression constantly thinking about health issues.
I don't know if its down to stress, hypercondria from being feed all horrible information on the net.
Its as if ok I have BFS but something new comes up just to keep me on the edge to worry a little more and start asking questions.

Hey Aust,

I can relate to your symptoms. First pins and needles, then twitches and now globus problems. After 3 months of twitches with no evidence of atrophy and clinical weakness I seem to handle these symptoms with no problem. But as you mentioned, new symptoms always seem to arise. I am now trying to cope with swallowing and throat issues. At times I feel that I cannot clear my throat because of this choking sensation with my saliva. Thanfully, I am able to clear my throat by keeping myself hydrated. I drink alot of water and try not to think about swallowing as often. The more you swallow the more irritated you will cause. Hopefully this helps.
