Hi, I often get twitching in my rib cage area. I do get a sharp pain under my left breast, on top of one of my ribs. I have often noticed it more with gassy foods. At first it scared me, but then I noticed it is often more intense after eating certain foods. Have your wife document what foods she eats prior to this pain. Good luck, and keep being supportive.
