Experiences with Generic Drug?

Hey All,Just wanted to ask if any of you have taken this drug before? It is the generic name, not sure what the "real" drug is called.....insurance is making me try it....new insurance plan and they won't let me take what I have taken for a year....I have to swap to this first and see if it works. Anyway, just curious if any of you have tried it, liked it, hated it, etc. Thanks!Carrie

Hi runnergirl, I have been taking gabapentin along with klonopin ( I take the gabapentin only at night) and it seems to help with the twitching in conjunction with the klonopin. What were you on before if I may ask? Anyway there does not seem to be any side effects on me so that is good as well. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions about either med.Mary

I've tried it also. No side effects. I don't think it helped with the twitches but I was on a low dose. What dose are you going to be taking?

He is starting me on 300mg for first week...then moving me to 600mg by week two. Stopping there. It is all insurance related....they won't approve Cymbalta...which is what I was on for a year and loved. It doesn't come in generic and the nurse said it is all cost related. But I am going to be positive about it and pray it actually does even better than cymbalta! Started last night....so far, so good.
