Exercise-Induced Tingling: Explanation?

Hi,When I exercise (cardio) I notice that afterwards, when I'm all hot and sweaty, I get a lot moretingling, particularly in patches on my legs.I don't seem to twitch anymore than usual and the tingling usually subsides after I've cooled down.My main worry over the past 14 months has been MS and I read that MS symptoms can worsendue to heat?Does anybody out there share this symptom or know why I should tingle more in these circumstances. Many thanksSteve

hello stevo! please FORGET ABOUT MS!! from what ive studied it hardly ever (the medo in me reluctant to say never haha) starts with tingling! more likely optic neuritis and weakness or obvious numbness! enjoy life! oh and i went though a period of tingles (thinking the same thing ms) got a brain and spinal cord mri that was negative and interestingly the tingles vanished! psychosomatic component for sure!

Hi mookza and thanks for taking the time to reply. After 14 months of strange sensations, twitching and many other symptoms, I'm slowlycoming around to the idea that this probably is caused by some benign condition, anxietyor maybe both.As with many people on here, I can't always maintain that positive frame of mind andoften slip back into the tried and tested old worries.Anyway, back to my original question, I was just wandering if there was any physicalor indeed mental componant as to why these sensations would intensify when the bodyis really hot, ie during or after exercise.Steve
