Epidural Birth, BFS, and Sleep Loss

I can't add to the medical advise Kit gives, only that my epidural had nothing to do with my BFS (it developed 6 yrs later) ,but I sure loved my epidural, not as much love for the BFS. ;) My epidural made childbirth so much easier for me! Congratualtions! Thie biggest effect I might want to be aware of regarding post-childbirth is that is a lack of sleep often seems to correlate with in an increase in twitching, just FYI.
Good Luck!

Hi,I developed BFS prior to my pregnancies and had one epidural & one spinal during my deliveries. My BFS symptoms were pretty mild (if at all) during the pregancies and for the 1st few years afterwards. I don't think the epidural caused any problems. Good luck. Denise

I had one child while suffering from bfs, and the best thing that ever happened to me was the epidural.....I honestly think my wife would have killed ME if she couldn't have had one (not to mention the fact that I probably would have passed out from the pain...of her beating me  ).Well, there's a males perspective....well, one anyway.Thank God for epidurals!!!!Good luck with the pregnancy and the new baby! You are in for a wonderful time.Gary
