EMG Experience After 14 Months

Had my first EMG today, about 14 months into this. I've had the NCS test before. I had it done at a University. I was very anxious, esp. about the EMG. The first one I tried to have done about 10 months ago was too painful for me. The needle-sticks and movement were unbearable to me. I'm not sure how you all do it. Anyway, I gritted my teeth. They were able to do 4 insertion points - 3 in my left leg, and one in my left lower paraspinal area.

The doctor told me that she found a slight abnormality, but could not tell me about it until she discussed it with the attending. So I tried glancing at her notes, and noticed that all was normal, except for a 'few fasiculations' noted in my lower left leg. I did not actually 'feel' these twitches occuring at the time, which shows how sensitive the test is.

I did not notice anything else on her notes, but I was only able to quickly glance at them. So I guess this is good news. Nothing but fasciuclations with no weakness after 14 months. I will still wait for the final results next week.

Anyway, its not the twitches that bother me. I can handle them. My major symptom is that both my feet ache and are sore constantly. Feels like I walked 20 miles every day. Occasionally I will also have the cramps in the feet at night.

Anyone else here have this 'bilateral feet pain'?
Thanks for reading.

i get lots of foot and calf pain, and aches, especially if i've been on my feet a lot that day (but not like before all this bull**** started).
