Effects of Cipro: My Story

For me, I think everything started when I took Cipro 6 months ago for 3 weeks to treat an imaginary prostate infection!
Ciao bella! Down the drain since that day!

Twitches, sleep jerks, upset stomach and numbness.
I believe people who says that cipro is evil. I absolutely have no proof but would like to see some.

Martin,

Do a google search on Dr. Stahlman and cipro, or Dr. Cohen and Fluoroquinolones. Dr. Cohen had a study published in the Journal of Pharmacotherapy back in 2003 (i believe) that was definitely an eye opener for me. It is hard to find these days, as the link on the fq site is no longer valid, but it is out there.

Ok this is interesting... I had a period a while back of constant UTIs for 2 years... nonstop... so I was on a LOT of Cipro. How long would it take for the two to be coincided with each other (taking the med and onset of symptoms) I was on Cipro and its family of drugs for the better part of 2 years....

But I just don't know what you'd take for a UTI in the future (especially in my case, being allergic to the penicillins and sulfa's)...not like you can just let them go. I wonder if there is any other group of antibiotics that would be ok...
