Doxycycline Causing Hand Tingling?

Has anyone taken Doxycycline for whatever reason and have it make your hand (palm) tingle/vibrate when you clap your hands? Just wondering if I'm having a rx to the Doxy.

yes you are having a herx! the tingling that you feel are the nerve endings were the spirochetes are sitting, for years I had that problems and it has come back again on doxy, I am on 600mg of doxy a day, if you are on a low dose I would ask you doctor to raise it to 400 mg a day. the reason is it has to cross the blood brain barrier.

your dose is to low. i would also stick with the doxy as it is working.

Doxy works well for Lyme but is not best choice for mycoplasma which can also cause twitches. Bands were 41 & 23 which indicate exposure to Lyme (I've had it twice in the past)

you have lyme disease stephanie, I have 23 and 41 plus others. doxy is working for me at 600 mgs a day somtimes I go between 400 and 600 on differant days. remember that it has to get to the brain in high strength. make sure your doctor knows that.

by the way I have a green lyme disease band that is for lyme victims if you want one let me know and ill tell you were to get them. they are real ones by the way not conterfiet.
