Mark, Is it time to panic?! huh? Widespread twitching and hot spots? Come on man, get over it! (I say this with love because I know you now and you need to hear it).

Geeze, is anyone treating your symptoms with anything or are they giving you the brush off like they did me? My advise, worked for me, anticonvulsants and valium. Dude! Let's get on with it. Panic is the worst :P I wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone.

Get treated and accept the insanity of this condition. It's a wild ride. I was an absolute, total basketcase with the hot spots and I wish I were exaggerating. On the sofa crying inconsolably. Hot spots on my arm- JOLTING out of my shirt as I ate ICE CREAM at the AQUARIUM with my son. What the heck was that? I don’t know, but all my tests came out A OK- so there. Feet are really bad for twitching hot spots. Enjoy your weekend at the shore- please! Don't miss out on life for one minute like I did due to fear.

Mark,

I have been there. I agree that the hot spots can be unsettling, but they do go away. I have been going through this mess for three years and in that time I have had hot spots that have gone for a day or two all they way to six weeks. My hot spots vary in location, but the long lasting thumpers hang around my arms just above or below my arms. These have come and gone with or without the other symptoms (body wide twitches, aches, etc.)

If you read around the forum many people get the hot spots in their feet...especially the arches.
