Do Vitamins Help with Twitching?

Just wondering what vitamins you guys take to help with twitching? I take a multi V, magnesium, B complex, and fish oil... not sure if they really help but ya...Thanks guys

I stopped taking all the pill forms of my vitamins when I found that my B12 was too high. I still drink my ensure shakes because I'm trying to put some weight back on, but I cant say that any vitamin combo helped with any of the symptoms. But some people claim that they do. To each his own on this one, but for the most part, the vitamins cant hurt to try. Let us know if you get any relief.Take CareRobynn :D)

B12, D and EI was deficient on B12 and D when first tested. Suppliments have not stopped the twitches for me.There is a bit of research on Vitamin E that shows or may show some sort of preventative effect for ALS.

I've tried many different vitamins and none help with the twitches. I still just take a multi vitamin and Vitamin D3 because my levels were low.

You'll tell me I am going for Vitamin overdose. 1 Multivitamin2 magnesium2 B complex50,000 IU of Vitamin D as prescribed by a dr due to low vitamin D4 Vitamin C's 1 Vitamin E2 Fish Oil I am sure I am forgetting one or two but they did help me.

Carrie, did they ever give you any idea's why your B12 was too high, or if it was anything to be worried about?? My level was up at 1876, normal is no higher than 900, TS, thats alot of vitamins, :D) But hey, if it helps, good for you, I wish I could report that they helped me but I never noticed a difference with any.

When my symptoms were bad I used to take B1 and alpha lipoic acid along with my multiV. This seemed to help with the weird sensory issues. I read about these being Rxd for pnhe as they are supposed to help with repair (antioxidants) - don't have the issues so stopped these a while back. Then for a while I took Acetyl L-carnitine and it helped with muscle soreness but I'm not positive about that one anymore. I went off it - maybe I'll try it again. The problem for me is that this is all so subjective - how to tell? Yeah though, if it works who cares because isn't a placebo your mind helping your body out? But better to get the effect without spending the $....
