Do Others Experience Vibrating Legs?

Hi, been on here to ask a question before. Back then I had an ALS scare since I twitch all over, have a permanent palmar brevis spasm in my right hand, and feel a bit weak in my legs sometimes.I am wondering if anyone else gets this - when I am squatting to get something or standing on tip-toes, my legs vibrate berserkly as if they are straining under my weight. And on both my biceps, I also see the same sort of straining vibration when I am lowering my arms after a bicep curl (this occurs even if I am not lifting any weight). I'm a skinny guy, 8st 10lb at 5 ft 9-10, with not much muscle mass since I barely use them on the best of days. I'm just wondering if there is a possible neurological cause for this, or if everyone gets it. I have already been to a neurologist about twitching and he said he thought there was nothing wrong - passed his physical exam, although he did comment that I had some hyperreflexia and appeared to look like I was "wasting away" . My MRI of the brain and upper spine is also normal. So while my fear is not ALS or MS, and accept the most likely (self) diagnosis of BFS, i'm now worrying about crap like muscular dystrophy or something else.. I am 21 btw.

Thanks for your answer, I was concerned that it might be "ratcheting" since this can be a symptom of Parkinson's/Parkinsonism (which a few elderly people in my family have had). But I had a fine neurological exam so i'm sure it is not that. I watched some videos of it on Youtube and mine appears slightly different. It's not like the arm moves in big jerks when I relax it from a bicep curl - the motion is mostly smooth with only some minute stuttering. It's mostly just the bicep muscle itself that vibrates under the 'strain' of my lowering arm. Strangely I don't get it when raising my arm at the elbow, only lowering it. I also find that it improves slightly after repetition and after lifting weights. Would this all indicate that it is more tension dependent than neurological?I also get it when raising my heel and slowly lowering it. It doesn't feel like there is a loss of strength or mobility, just a shakiness. Other things i've noticed are an occasional tremulousness all over my body which feels a bit like being cold, and sometimes when I wake up in the morning my hands feel completely dead and hard to move but improve quickly (my mother also gets this). If many other BFS'ers have the same symptoms and it doesn't sound serious then i'm happy with that.

PD does not present with twitches and ratcheting is already associated with a lot of individuals that have BFS, so there is really no need to worry. I am coming off of worrying about PD also, but the more I review symptoms of others, the more I see them as just common problems with BFS.I also have the occasional body-wide tremors you describe as being similar to being cold. I get them mostly when I am slightly nervous, but they can also occur seemingly randomly. As for your hands feeling completely dead in the morning and quickly recovering... I don't think that's so much a symptom of BFS as it is just a common life problem. Lots of people experience this, and it's associated with poor circulation due to odd positioning/pressure while sleeping, or pinched nerves due to the same. Either way it should not be something to worry about in light of your other symptoms.
