Do Not Answer: Sound Familiar?

Wow. That is me alright. It is interesting as my neuro initially indicated that my extensive overuse of my asthma medication, Albuterol, may have triggered my symptoms in the first place, coupled with extreme anxiety and stress that was going on in my life at the time. I was using twice the recommended dosage when everything started, which I think was attributed to allergies, as well as a tremendous amount of stress - again causing physical symptoms.

Thanks for the info. I bookmarked that site.

Get it from the source (Wikipedia): .

We also might want to add a comment about autoimmune issues, particularly given the research that stevenpaulo has reported on. A mention of anxiety treatments being of benefit could be good as well. Yes, we all know that BFS isn't always caused by anxiety, but it seems to be sometimes. Besides, anxiety makes the symptoms worse, and any suggestions for help would be good.

Heck, we could even include a pointer to bfsforum.com.

This is the first time I have read a description of BFS that captures the nature of the beast. Eighteen months ago, I remember looking at the web sites for benign fasciculations and getting information such as "70% of the population report having had twitching at one time or another"... "or something to that effect. This article actually describes the BFS condition -- I would have loved to have googled this early in the processs!

Everyone was probably a slow learner to start with when it comes to computers. I still don't understand the stupid things now.

Cheers Steve
