Do I Have BFS Part?

I agree. Tightness in the neck and jaw area can bring it on - stretching may help you - check to make sure you are not clenching your jaw/grinding your teeth.

Hi BartedadoStar is so right, most people get this with or without BFS. I get this alot and did have way before all this started, if you look up Anxiety symptoms you will see it's actually a symptom of that too! Plus my friend mentions she gets it all the time, and only the other day somone in the office I work in said they had it, this really should be one symptom that you should so not worry about :D)

Hi Bart, Tinnitus (ringing noise in the ear) is an extremely common condition (effects about 20%, perhaps even more, of the adult population). It has nothing to do with BFS (in my opinion). I've had this all my life in both ears. At night I usually fall asleep with some noise in the background. Annoying, but you get used to it (just like you get used to twitching right? ;) ).May

My neuro told me ringing in the ears is a classic sign of anxiety. I think the mechanism is breathing out too much carbon dioxide either from hyperventilation or other type of overbreathing. I would take this as a good sign since this same process also causes muscle twitching.

I've had ringing and all sorts of noises in my ear(s) on and off for years. Almost everyone I've talked to about this (many friends, co-workers, etc.), also experience this, so I'm not certain if it's due to BFS or just something that happens to everyone. The only time my neuro questioned me about it was when I was being treated for benign positional vertigo, (pretty severe bouts); then I have ringing as well. Best Wishes, Denise
