Dizzy and Terrified - Help!

I got dizzy as well. Just walking around the grocery sotre, felt light headed, things just felt wierd, like when I turned my head it took a little while for the scenery to catch up with me. It went away eventually. Could also have something to do with anxiety...

the dizziness you described, how you'd turn your head and the rest of the scenery would have to catch up was exactly what I used to have. It was when I first realized I had BFS. It stopped after a while.

OMG! YES!

I was dizzy for 2 months before any of my weird twitching symptoms (besides my calfs)

I was dizzy like you would'nt belive, caused me to have a breakdown in a shoppig mall once. I'm still dizzy from time to time but am getting better.

I layed on the floor for three months - it was bad.

Things to do if your dizzy:
1. Get your eyes checked - this can be a cause of dizzyness
2. Get your ears checked - tilting table test by ENT
3. Calm down - anxiety can create severe dizzyness
4. Try to eat regularly and healthy

SOOOOO many things can cause dizzyness. I'm sure its not related to any twitching, etc. Its funny how we try to link every physical ailment we get after twitching to the twitching in some way. I did this all the time when I first started twitching. The best thing to do is just relax, although its easier said than done. Just try to take comfort in the fact that so many people have been through the same thing as you and we're all just fine!

Yes - I get light-headed and dizzy (I did before the BFS symptoms but this intensified once the twitching began). I can't turn my head swiftly without feeling very dizzy/light-headed and maybe a tad off-balance sometimes.

I had several several episodes of vertigo that lasted only a minute or two over a period of several months when this began for me. Now I have occasions of a milder dizziness. This comes and goes. When it is present, it can get suddenly much worse if I get upset. My 8 yr old son has experienced the same strange thing. Other things can cause dizziness too, but since it began when the BFS began, I've suspected it's related.
