I was "diagnosed" with IBS about 6-8 weeks before my BFS began. I say diagnosed in quotes because I think IBS is one of those "I don't really know what you have so I'm gonna call it IBS" things. Not to say that I don't think IBS is real, because it definitely is, but I think sometimes when nothing shows up on tests its sort of the "go to" diagnosis for some doctors.
I had unbelievable stabbing pain in my abdomen and I couldn't eat food for about a week, which in turn made my body that much more *beep* up. As it waned down, I think it did turn into IBS, but it started as something much more intense than that. Who knows what it was, but it took about 3 months to totally work itself out of my system.
But yeah, 2 months later the twitchin began...
