Desperate for Relief: TASER Therapy?

I know this sounds stupid...but does anyone think that getting shocked by a TASER or something would somehow 'reset' your nerves back to normal?? Maybe if you ran 100,000 volts of electricity through your body...it would fry your nerves enough to make them stop twitching.

At this point, these twitches are getting so bothersome that I'd be willing to try ANYTHING. Any thoughts? Or am I way off base??

Don't know if it's true by I swear someone said once on here that your changes of getting ALS are increased if you are shocked or struck by lightening. But you know what if a taser worked I would do it in a New York second.

Anyone else remember reading that about being shocked or struck by lightening?

I would not think it would help. Perhaps you'd have a heart attack. Well, at least then you'd stop twitching. Don't do anything crazy.

Jason,

Very nice. I have heard (and done) some crazy stuff to myself since I started twitching, but your idea takes the cake. Great job!

I say do it. What have you got to lose at this point? ;)

I thought thats what the neuros use to conduct their nerve conduction studies When I had mine I swore the device said property of the Modesto Police Department!
