Deltoid Twitches: Cause?

Hi there,I'm having these (deltoid twitches) big time now, and on both sides. They began 2 weeks ago, almost 24/24, like a quasi permanent buzzing, and/or thumpers, and it didn't really stop since. The funny thing is that they started at the very moment I was changing my work position (i'm an occasional writer) : new table, new chair, new position, etc. : could this be related ? Both my arms are hurting now, hands included, and i have perceived weakness (i still can do my 10 or 15 push-ups in a row - never really did better :) )What worries me is that I read somewhere, on this very board, that a neuro said to someone that twitching starting in deltoid could mark the onset of als. Do you think this is complete crap ? Or did you hear it too ?For the record, i'm a 3+ years french twitcher ; got twitches almost anywhere you can imagine, but never like this deltoid ones before : feels like they'll never stop. I thought the fear was behind me but, from time to time, it comes back. Thanks for the attention,Fabrice

Twitches are twitches wherever they are. There is definitely no rule saying that deltoid twitches are special in any way. Relax! You're just having a flare of BFS!Funny you should say that about your work position. I think that the arrival of my new work chair coinicided with an upsurge in calf muscle twitches.
