Dealing with Twitchy Legs Everyday

Just wondering how many twitch everyday. I do but some days it's only a few and the other days my legs go crazy. Just when I think things are settling down they come back in full force the next day. This is a very frustrating thing to deal with sometimes.

Thanks for posting this question as I wonder about the same thing. I twitch everyday. I have some abnormal sensation whether it be a visible twitch with the twitch sensation or just buzzing/vibrating/tingling at some point every second of the day. The sensations are not in the same location all the time but happen in just about every place imaginable. If this hadn't all come on so suddenly, I'd probably be less obsessive about analyzing it. I just can't get over how it didn't exist at all and then was everywhere so quick.Krackersones

Everyday, lots of weird places, although some places that used to twitch years ago don't now and some that twitch now didn't years ago. 3.5 years ago I got an awful stomach virus (or a fish poisoning - never sure) on a Sat. and twitching started everywhere. All at once. My eyelid had twitched the previous summer, but that's it. I never read the internet for reasons to make myself anxious - just got the awful virus (10 weeks) and when those symptoms went away, the twitching stayed. On a brighter note, I did have 3 months at one point, and then 7 months a year later with NOTHING. no twitches. they came back in Nov. along with cramping and tingling. Everyday again, sometimes all day, sometimes not.

I am willing to bet anyone on this site that I twitch more than any of you lol. The reason I know this is because I have not had a "break" yet. When I say I twitch 24/7 I mean every second. Primarily in the arches of my feet and my calves. I feel as if I am electrified. I forget what it is like to have peace and calm in my body. I am hoping this is the storm before the quiet but it is hard to imagine that this will pass anytime soon.

I twitch every day too. Loads and loads some days. Just loads on other days. Did anyone get a chance to look at my 'palm fasciculation' post... am really worried by this development.CheersSimon

Lol yeah :D) Every day - that is pretty stupid question /just kidding, no offence/.The question should be: WHO DOESNT TWITCH EVERY MINUTE?

Indeed every second of every single day.I actually think I'll go insane if I ever stop twitching. It would be way too weird to not have my body so vivid :)

Hi May, do you really twitch every second of the day? I twitch 24/7 in calves but now it seems like I twitch all over my body every second : hand-back -arm - arm - arm -shoulder - shouder ...

Hi Bart, I really really do!! When I have an extremely busy day I alost don't notice anything (perhaps just big thumpers or the annoying tongue twitch), but once I take a break I notice that my body is like popcorn. It's like this every day!18 months here. No weakness whatsoever. 4 (I'm embarrassed to even admit I had 4) clean EMG's.

There is never a day that I don't twitch at all just that I don't get so many. That is what is so weird about all this. How could you go from having a few one day to having your body explode with them the next? I can't believe doctors don't know more about this. Thanks to all who answered my question.

I've constant twitch in my shoulder blade for a week now, I hate this one because this gets me thinking of that Quadbliss story I read here :(

I only am on the board once in a while now. (54 years old, medical doctor) I already twitch form 1/4/07, sudden onset, all over, never went away. During the years it got a bit less. Sometimes a few good days, but then of course full blown back. Not a day really without them. When I am very busy, I forget them. Sitting quiet, yep, there they are. I have come to terms with them now. (although never really getting used to them, lips, face, tongue is annoying). They don't scare me anymore. A shoulder or a hamstring for a week, thats nothing, had that several times. In the beginning my triceps and biceps went on for 4 months ! I have a small muscle in my right forearm that twitches non stop for 2 years now. Don't feel it anymore, but its there when I look. So I would say, dont bother.

I had shoulder blade twitches early on with this and no change in muscle strength that I can detect. Those were some of the ones that kept me up at night and one of the symptoms Klonopin really helps with.

I have been twitching every second of every day since 1/07. I have never had a break. My feet and calves go constantly like popcorn and then there is always another twitch going off somewhere else. Those ones just switch areas. I am still fine and functioning normally :D) Sue

sue, how can you sleep like this? as soon as my calfs go wild, what they usually do at night, i cannot sleep anymore...makes me to nervous/anxious....
