Lewis,I can tell you with 100% confidence that your symptoms will increase, sometimes dramatically, when you undergo a period of stress. I recently went through this myself. I had been constantly improving until a very stressful event happened. This in turn increased my anxiety, which increased my symptoms. When my symptoms increased, I then began to have anxiety about the flare in symptoms. It can turn into a vicious cycle if you're not careful. Stress is nearly impossible to avoid and therefore you WILL experience these flares, the important thing is to not let the increased symptoms cause you to go into panic thinking there is something more sinister at work in your body. Everyone I have spent time visiting with on this site will tell you the same, that their BFS is very closely tied to anxiety and is made much worse by things like stress, illness, and exercise.
