Dealing with Stress-Related Twitches

ok, so i do get the occasional twitches.. a lot more when i have a deadline or i am stressed.

i went back to the gym and i go 3-4 times a week. i lift weights, i run, etc.
and it feels great!

i kinda "hurt" my knee last night i think when i was on the treadmill.. and it hurts a bit when i twist it a certain way..
for SOME CRAZY reason i started associating this with you know what again and obsessing constantly.

i really don't want to go to that place anymore. it's been 6 months and i want to convince myself i am fine.. i guess i need a little reassurance again..

anyone mind?

Well, you know if anything sinister was wrong with you you would not have posted "it feels great" about your running, weight lifting, etc.

You're fine. You're letting the little aches, pains, and odd sensations that we all get (and particularly if you're exercising) cause you worry.

My freakout with als was about 1 year ago. And while I am much, much better, every once in a while I still get that "ohhh no" when I get any odd feelings. I, too, workout (I lift very heavy, sprint, etc.) and it's simply bound to happen that people like us WILL get occasional aches, etc. from working out.

Try to relax...you're fine.

i agree with you.

i just want to say "hey it's been 6 months" ... that's good right?

i wish i wasn't such a worry-wart.

i am 24 yrs old and i really just want to be a "kid" and have fun..

i don't want to worry about ALS anymore :(

So don't you say it's been 6 months if it were anything serious you would be darn near dead right now or handicaped some kind of way relax don't worry or you'll be like me one day 29 going on 30 and wishing you had that time back. ;)
