Hello twitchers..I've been dealing with BFS for about 14-15 years. Initially it started at just eyelid twitching, rarely arm or leg muscles but symptoms went generally unnoticed. About 10 years ago I had my first panic attack and realized I had generalized anxiety disorder, the BFS symptoms escalated - all the usual suspects including lots of widespread twitching, headaches, pins and needs, creepy crawly sensations, and sore/achey muscles. But unfortunately, I also developed a lot of widespread pain. The pain would present itself as a widespread random nerve pain that would come and go on different parts of my body as anything from a light stinging sensation to an outright painful sensation. Although most of my BFS symptoms have greatly lessened over the years, the pain component has not - its mostly the same. I have been on Lexapro for 5 years and it has helped a lot with my anxiety and probably as a result was responsible for lowering many of my other BFS symptoms.Does anyone experience pain in the way that I have presented it?
