Yes, of course. When your neuro tells you that you are fine. No doc would say you are OK if they thought there was a chance you had any progressive or life-threatening disease. They see all the bad ones, every week, so of course they recognise them. This is one thing I can never figure out about this forum - is how so many can think a trained neurologist wouldn't recognise a major neurological disease. Unless they did one of those mail order diplomas .....The hard part of it all is that, in relation to the really bad stuff, bcfs/bfs/pnhe, is not much of a complaint. It may be this that drives some people a little off-base; it is really hard to accept that something that has made such a difference in our life could be so insignificant to the doc.
