Damage From 3-4 Years?

What kind of damage are you describing. It seems you have had this for 3-4 years now. So, I would think it wouldn't be anything serious or progressive like ALS. I am not sure what axonal neuropathy is.

There are several people on the board who have damage and BFS. there is nothing to any other condition that would make you less likely to have BFS. For instance, pinched nerves and spinal problems and localized neuropathies are just what they are. You can have these and still have BFS. So many people have BFS that I would guess that it is common to have multiple conditions at the same time.

An axonal neuropathy can cause nerve hyperexcitability which then manifests in the form of BFS symptoms. Given that your EMG data has confirmed the neuropathy, then it is quite possible this is the cause of your symptoms and not two separate neurological conditions where the cause of BFS remains unknown.

Bare in mind that terms like BFS and BCFS are only names given to the symptoms, they are not a cause, of which there are many, and nerve damage in the form of a neuropathy is just one.
