Cortisone Shot & Elbow Atrophy?

Does anyone know if a cortisone shot can cause atrophy near elbow. There's a definite dent there along with dryness and some discoloration.. Had shot a couple months ago.

I'm not sure about what a cortisone shot can do, but I hope you aren't questioning whether this dent could be ALS atrophy. Such atrophy does not take form via "dents" like we always seem to find on our bodies. Everyone has dents.

I found a "dent" in my quad muscle several years ago.....IT WASN'T ON THE OTHER LEG,,,,I WAS DOOMED!!......10 years later, it's still just a dent....................................................................................................................... nothing to worry about unless you lose the ability to pick your arm up off the table.

Just scary seeing a dent that wSnt there, that's all...

So I called dr who gave injections and he said yes, common side effect, called "fat atrophy"...
